Before
Clear gutters if you can do it safely. Move the grill and the loose lumber. Photograph the roof and the yard for insurance. Fill the car. Charge the battery pack.
After
Tarps and a licensed roofer beat a stranger with a ladder and a card machine. Document damage before you throw anything away. Generators belong outside, never in the garage.
